"Fun fact: Upon completion both drawer and inker of the panel lost their hand due to overuse."
That's not far from the Truth. They needed the cover Asap, because the original artist said he was going to be unable to do it. So Mark and Myself busted our asses on it( It's a 2 page spread by the Way). Then upon completion we were told "We don't need it after all, Thanks anyway." We were Bummed.

Yeah, can imagine that being a huge letdown, but always remember, how many people can do that in the first place? :p
But did u at least get paid for it or do they order stuff and only pay if they need it?

Something tells me when they're out of ideas they'll start making a serie called the lost issues.
So time will bring out the volumes, then again, it could be faaar after you're done inking :)

Want to know how to draw in mayor audiences? And this is only something you can do. Go to buzzcomix, comicgenesis,.... And post a few with the link to these forums in your signature.
Talent draws in people like flies and it takes people struggling with art to fully appreciate what you're doing, so you'll be sure they will come a lot if you can first see them.
Also, a deviantart page has a heeeeeeeck of a lot of people coming by.
Only suggestions :)

I can't see any images for some reason. I've right clickd on the image also, but with no luck.
I can't wait to see Cover #24!
I loved NXM #20! But with X23 in it, and NXM being one of my fave comic books, I was in no doubt, lol. Both the art and writing was awesome! I loved your work on it, great issue all round! Go Team!
Oh, by the way, can I ask, do you know whats happening with Arana? Has it been cancelled now? There's no issue for Jan and Feb. Shame if so, I really like that Comic also.

Beyonder was having some trouble at first but he did something, Maybe ask him. I'm still figuring out all the bugs. this is the first time I've hosted something like this. Bear with me.

I didn't ink this Piece over Mark Brooks, It's just his pencils colored. But it is so Badass that i wanted to post it anyway. Mark did for last Dallas Comic con Program cover. I think he did a hell of a Job.

Wow you are right this one was so much better than the one they used. I'm curious why they didn't want the original and went with a more simpler version? Or do they even tell you?
Well they told Mark that it was too similar to the peice that inspired him, they just didn't want to take a chance of Someone reconizing his inspiration for it.

Lol I didnt realize it to you said that. Episode 2! Hehe
Now I didnt work on this cover art wise but i was used as a model for one of the thugs(on left). My Buddy and artist extrodinare Tim Bradstreet was in town and wanted to use me in a photo shoot for this Punisher cover. Of course i said yes, I mean it's cool to work on Marvel Comics but even cooler to appear as your self and a villian trying to kill the Punisher no less.
Cover to Punisher#23, Artist Tim BradStreet.
