I dont know if anyone would want to do this, but i thought it would be fun to maybe have a thread where i could throw out a character and have everyone draw their version of him. No real competition but just an excuse for people to practice and have fun.


just an idea, let me know who interested and maybe we could do this as a semi regular exercise.


Art Battle rules:


The illustration can be in pencil, inks, and colored(if time permits)


Each person will have a week to finish(Sunday to 12 midnight Sunday)


The illustration can be a figure shot or can include an enviroment(if time permits)


Most importantly have fun.

Thanks for joining up guys. Sunday will be the deadline for anyone wanting to sign up. Also everyone will have a week to finish their drawing, i imagine that is enough time.

heres my rendition of the worlds finest. originally i wanted green lantern instead of supes but for some reason i can never get the mask to look right, maybe cause its so simple. i dont think i should have ink washed it.

thanks, i did the superman with the nib pen as a last minute addition over my failed attemps at gl (the domino mask throws me off everytime). he came out better than i thought. i didn't ink wash supes as much to try to give that contrast of the "boy scout" image vs. the dark knight (i don't think i showed). im gonna try to color it in photoshop anyone else that wants to cant cause im not that good yet.
