Let me know if you have any trouble seeing the pics. Here is some trouble shooting answers, courtesy of Beyonder.
If you use firefox, just right click on the image and select "view image". If you use internet explorer, right click on the image, properties, copy the exact URL of the image and post it in the address bar and press enter.

when I load the page, no. But when I right click the image and go to the source with my browser, I does load. And for some reason, it also loads on this page then.

much much better this way. In fact, when you make a new post on the main page, let the comments section lead to the matching topic in the forum.
I know it's extra work for you, but I'm only suggesting. Disregard if you don't feel like it :)

This is the cover to Arana #1. Man those buildings were a bitch! Mark Killed me with this one. Note: I generaly don't use Technical pens(Rapidographs, Ect.) for Backgrounds.
I try to do as much as possible with the Crow quill, I like to make sure that the backgrounds have as much life in them as the organics. It's hard to do and takes practice but if you can get good at inking with an nib and a straight edge(raised) then you can achieve some real nice and dynamic back grounds.

i tried to make straight lines with a crow quill and raised straight edge but the ink would pool on to the raised part then drip so ive had to rely on a tech pen
The key to avoid pooling and then the ink dripping and getting under your straight edge is to not load up too much ink in your nib.
It takes some pratice and touch but just because it doesnt work the first few times doesnt mean to stop. Just play around with it and get a feel for it, you will be able to control it with pratice and repetition.

This peice was done by one of my best friends, Jim Daly. He is a concept designer for video games and a comic book artist occasionaly. He just finished a graphic novel that will be coming out next year through image comics.

Here is a head sketch that Jim Daly did, playing around with his new found method of drawing. I think it's interesting the way his uses the loose quality of his lines to define and suggest shapes.

I don't like the ink in the face region, but the parts below are extremely nice. -- Edited by Bad Habit at 00:26, 2005-11-30

To be fair this piece was him experimenting with his new style. When he finishes his next peice i will post it. I'm also supposed to Ink a piece over him for fun, so that will be interesting.

No I can't see them. All I see are little red X's. How do you post pictures anyway? Does the picture have to be on a web page to see and starts out like "http://"?
